I work with individuals who yearn for balance, peace and a sense of wholeness in their lives. Whether someone is seeking respite from the chaos of modern life or desires to embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery, I provide a safe and nurturing space for growth and healing.
I specialize in many areas regarding general well being, but in particular Postpartum Yoga Therapy, and Yoga Therapy for Grief counseling.
I help new mothers regain strength and confidence, alleviate discomfort, and find balance with self care during the transformative postpartum period. Honoring all aspects of the physical and emotional journey, including the grieving process as well as the joy. This therapy is beneficial for both parents and those who adopt regardless of gender. The physical journey may not be the same if you did not carry the child but the mental and emotional journey of being a parent is not limited to the carrier alone. I believe this is an area that is underserved and I am so grateful to be able to offer support to all. Together we choose yoga techniques and practices that can easily be worked into daily life, to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being.
I also help individuals navigate through the complex emotions and stages of grief from any form of life changing event. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques, I guide clients towards finding solace, deeper levels of physical peace, inner peace, and renewed strength during times of loss and transition.
My role is to listen deeply and help you discover what lies just behind the surface of your own intuition and deeper knowing. We then work together to incorporate simple practices into your daily life that address your areas of concern and adjust as need be.
I have been a practitioner for 18 years and continue to grow and learn on my own journey. My passion for yoga therapy has helped me to embody compassion for myself, to truly listen to and follow my heart and to find my authentic expression in the world. Loving and appreciating all areas of my life at a deeper level, while being able to better cope with the bumps in the road. My mission is to help each client experience this sense of peace and connect more deeply with their own sense of well being and authenticity by offering transformative tools and guidance on the path to wholeness.
