I am a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life transitions. My work has included helping children and adolescents facing emotional, physical, and behavioral challenges, as well as adults navigating the complexities of change whether subtle or life-altering.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, holistic, and strength-based, blending a range of psychological and counseling theories to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space tailored to each person’s unique needs. I believe that everyone carries a deeply intuitive understanding of the world, shaped by their lived experience. Together, we work to access and trust that inner wisdom—fostering greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and meaningful growth.

As a Registered Art Therapist, I understand that sometimes words simply aren’t enough. When language falls short, pain can feel unseen and unheard. In those moments, creative expression can offer a new way forward. You don’t need to see yourself as artistic or creative—only open to meeting yourself with curiosity and compassion. Whether through imagery, play, or metaphor, art can help bring shape and meaning to what feels unspoken.

Clients often share a deep sense of relief in being able to express themselves without the pressure of finding the “right” words. They describe feeling seen, heard, and more connected to themselves through the creative process. Many are surprised by the insights that emerge organically—especially when working with symbols, images, or metaphor.

For those healing from trauma, art therapy offers a gentle and empowering way to explore painful experiences at a pace that feels manageable. Clients frequently report increased self-awareness, emotional clarity, and a renewed sense of agency as they give form to their inner experiences. The process often fosters not only healing but a deepened sense of creativity, hope, and self-compassion.

Art therapy is one of the many tools available in our work together—always offered, never required. For those who are curious, it can provide a uniquely accessible path to understanding and processing difficult emotions. Whether you’re drawn to traditional talk therapy or feel called to explore creative approaches, we’ll shape the work in a way that honors your needs and preferences.

I am a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and committed to providing inclusive, affirming care.
